That’s one of the reasons we invest a lot in staff training, including our own Graduate Training programme.
The recent announcement by the UK government that it’s replacing the current information and communications technology (ICT) curriculum in England’s schools with a more flexible curriculum in computer science and programming, has started a lot of discussion within our business.
Nearly everyone has to use IT these days: it’s part of everyday life. As well as teaching children and young people to use IT, we also have to ensure we nurture the ones that have a natural affinity for computing. These will be the people that are able to develop programmes, create new applications and move IT forward in the future.
