Yesterday Concentrix entered a team into the Charnwood 6- a side Football Tournament at the Loughborough College Campus.
The weather was perfect and the day got off to a great start as Concentrix won two out of three matches! This took the jubilant Concentrix team into a three way penalty shoot out.
The penalty shoot out was extremely close and Goalkeeper, Dan Hawkins made some fantastic saves! However, unfortunately, some of our strikers hadn’t quite got their eye in and missed a few shots. This meant we missed out on winning our group.
However, after another nail biting penalty shoot out, we came 5th out of 16 teams, which is not a bad effort at all. Well Done!!
